A painter, sculptor and designer, François Mascarello experiments in his workshops with a range of materials and artistic techniques, in order to translate into space the power of manual gesture as much as its fragility: straw marquetry, stucco, painting, wild silk tapestry, trimmings, ceramics, etc.
It is through his mastery of material constraints that he gives life to the emotion essential to his work.
